The Bismarckia nobilis is a large ornamental palm known for its huge silvery-blue fan-shaped leaves and thick single trunk. It is native to Madagascar and is widely planted in tropical landscapes as a striking focal tree. The palm can grow 12–25 m tall and forms a broad crown of stiff, fan-like fronds. It grows best in warm tropical climates with temperatures around 20–35 °C, full sunlight, and well-drained soil.
