About the Product
Orchid charcoal is a porous growing medium made from burnt wood charcoal, commonly used for cultivating orchids because it provides excellent aeration, drainage, and helps prevent root rot. It does not supply many nutrients but supports healthy root growth when combined with other media. Orchids grown in charcoal perform well at ambient temperatures of about 20β30 Β°C under warm and humid conditions. In regions like Kerala, the tropical climate with good humidity and indirect sunlight is suitable for orchid cultivation using charcoal, provided excess water is allowed to drain properly. πΈπ±
