About the Product

Musambi Malta is a sweet lime variety known for its round fruits, smooth yellowish rind, and juicy, mildly sweet pulp rich in vitamin C. It grows well in warm tropical regions like Kerala, thriving in temperatures between 25°C and 35°C and tolerating heat up to about 38°C with proper irrigation. The tree prefers a humid to semi-humid climate with annual rainfall of 800–2000 mm and benefits from a dry spell during flowering for better fruit set. Well-drained sandy loam soils, full sunlight, and moderate humidity support healthy growth and good yield.
