About the Product

Matoa is a tropical fruit native to Indonesia, prized for its sweet, translucent pulp and thick, leathery rind. It grows well in warm regions like Kerala, thriving at temperatures between 24°C and 32°C, and can tolerate brief periods up to 36–38°C. The tree prefers a humid tropical climate with annual rainfall of 1500–2500 mm, well-drained loamy or sandy soils, and moderate sunlight. A dry spell during flowering helps in fruit set, while high humidity supports healthy growth and juicy, flavorful fruits.
