Apple mango ‘Rumania’ (Mangifera indica var. Rumania) is a tropical mango variety known for its crisp, mildly sweet, and slightly tangy fruits resembling an apple in texture and flavor. It grows well in warm tropical climates like Kerala, with ideal temperatures between 24°C and 32°C. The tree prefers moderate to high humidity, well-drained fertile soil, and annual rainfall of 750–2000 mm. It requires full sunlight for proper flowering and fruiting and is sensitive to frost and waterlogging, making Kerala’s monsoon climate suitable for its cultivation
