About the Product

Melia dubia (commonly called malaveppu) is a fast-growing tropical tree widely cultivated for timber, plywood, and paper industries. It grows well in warm climates like Kerala, where temperatures range between 22–35 °C. The tree prefers areas with moderate to high rainfall (about 800–2000 mm annually), good sunlight, and well-drained soils. It adapts well to the humid tropical climate of Kerala and is often grown in agroforestry and plantation systems due to its rapid growth and economic value.
