About the Product
Buddha’s Hand lemon (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis) is a unique citrus variety known for its fragrant, finger-like fruits that contain little to no pulp and are mainly valued for their aromatic rind. It grows well in warm tropical to subtropical climates such as Kerala, with ideal temperatures between 20°C and 32°C. The plant prefers moderate to high humidity, well-drained loamy soil, and full sunlight for good fruiting. While it can tolerate light seasonal variations, it is sensitive to frost and prolonged waterlogging, making Kerala’s warm, humid conditions suitable for its cultivation.
