About the Product

Nangadak jackfruit is a tropical fruit tree cultivar (a jackfruit × cempedak cross) with soft, sweet yellow flesh and a slightly smaller, egg-shaped fruit than typical jackfruit, often ready to fruit in about 3–4 years. Like other jackfruit types, it thrives in warm tropical climates with temperatures around 25 – 35 °C, high humidity, and well-distributed rainfall, and it does not tolerate frost or prolonged cold. Regions like Kerala, India, with hot, humid weather, good rainfall, and fertile, well-drained soils, offer suitable conditions for Nangadak to grow and produce fruit successfully.
