In tropical regions like Kerala, it grows best during relatively cooler periods, as cauliflower prefers mild temperatures between 10–25°C for proper curd development. It requires full sunlight (at least 5–6 hours daily), well-drained fertile soil (pH 6.0–7.0), and regular watering to maintain consistent soil moisture without waterlogging, especially during monsoon conditions. With proper care, hybrid varieties like Julie can produce dense, high-quality curds within 70–120 days, making them a reliable and productive choice for Kerala’s seasonal vegetable cultivation.
