Dracaena is a hardy ornamental foliage plant known for its upright stems and long, attractive leaves, often used for indoor decoration and shaded landscaping. In Kerala’s warm and humid climate, it grows very well in bright indirect light or partial shade. It prefers well-drained soil and moderate watering, allowing the topsoil to dry slightly between watering to prevent root rot.
