About the Product
**Curcuma**, commonly known as ornamental turmeric and belonging to the genus Curcuma, is a beautiful tropical flowering plant admired for its attractive pink, white, or purple bracts and lush green foliage. It thrives exceptionally well in Keralaβs warm and humid climate, growing best in temperatures between 20Β°C to 35Β°C. Curcuma prefers partial shade to filtered sunlight and grows well in fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Regular watering is essential during the growing season, especially in dry periods, but waterlogging should be avoided to prevent rhizome rot. In Kerala conditions, it typically blooms during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons. The plant naturally goes dormant after flowering, and the underground rhizomes can be divided and replanted for the next season, making Curcuma ideal for garden beds, shaded borders, and ornamental landscaping.
