Codiaeum variegatum, commonly known as the Croton plant, is a popular ornamental shrub valued for its bright, multicolored leaves in shades of green, yellow, red, and orange. It grows best in warm, humid tropical climates with plenty of bright sunlight and well-drained soil. The ideal ambient temperature for healthy growth is 20–32 °C, with moderate to high humidity.
