It grows well in warm, humid climates with bright indirect light and well-drained soil. The plant prefers temperatures between 18–30 °C and moderate to high humidity. Regions with tropical monsoon conditions like Kerala are generally suitable, provided the plant is protected from heavy waterlogging and harsh direct sunlight.
