About the Product

Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is a root vegetable grown for its round, deep red edible roots that are rich in iron, vitamins, and antioxidants. It grows best in cool to moderate climates with an optimal temperature of 15–25 °C and requires good sunlight and moderate moisture. The crop prefers well-drained sandy loam soil rich in organic matter. In Kerala, beetroot is mainly cultivated in cooler highland regions where the climate is suitable for its growth.
