About the Product
Avocado, botanically known as Persea americana, is a tropical to subtropical evergreen tree valued for its creamy, nutrient-rich fruits that are high in healthy fats. It grows best in temperatures between 20 °C and 30 °C, prefers frost-free conditions, and does not tolerate extreme heat or strong winds. Avocado requires well-drained loamy soil, moderate to high rainfall (about 1,000–1,500 mm annually), and full sunlight for good fruiting. In regions like Kerala, the warm and humid climate is suitable, but excellent drainage is essential during heavy monsoon seasons to prevent root rot.
