About the Product

Allamanda Flower (Golden Trumpet) is a fast-growing, evergreen ornamental climber/shrub known for its large, bright yellow trumpet-shaped blooms that add a tropical charm to gardens and landscapes. It thrives exceptionally well in Kerala’s warm and humid climate, growing best in temperatures between 22°C to 35°C and tolerating heat up to around 40°C with proper watering. Allamanda prefers full sunlight for abundant flowering but can tolerate partial shade. It grows well in well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil rich in organic matter, and regular watering is needed, especially during dry periods, though waterlogging must be avoided. In Kerala conditions, flowering is almost year-round with peak blooms during summer and monsoon. Occasional pruning encourages bushier growth and more flowers, making Allamanda an ideal choice for hedges, trellises, compound walls, and garden landscapes.
