Adenium obesum (Desert Rose) is a succulent ornamental plant known for its swollen stem and colorful trumpet-shaped flowers. It grows well in warm climates with temperatures around 20–35 °C and requires bright sunlight for at least 6–8 hours daily. In regions like Kerala, the tropical climate is suitable, but the plant should be protected from heavy monsoon rains and grown in well-drained sandy soil to prevent root rot. Moderate watering and good sunlight help the plant grow healthy and produce more flowers.
