The Daeng Surya jackfruit is a premium Thai jackfruit variety (Artocarpus heterophyllus) known for its sweet, crunchy orange-red flesh and large fruits weighing around 10–15 kg. It thrives in warm, humid tropical climates with temperatures roughly between 25 °C and 38 °C, prefers full sun, high humidity (~70 %), and needs well-drained fertile soil with regular moisture for healthy growth. This variety is sensitive to cold and frost, so it does best under frost-free tropical conditions like those found in Kerala, where warm temperatures, high humidity, and abundant rainfall support vigorous growth and fruiting.
