About the Product
**Gladiolus**, scientifically known as Gladiolus, is a striking ornamental plant admired for its tall flower spikes bearing large, colorful blooms in shades of red, pink, yellow, orange, white, and purple. In Keralaβs climate, gladiolus grows best in temperatures between 18Β°C to 30Β°C and prefers a relatively cooler environment for strong spike development and abundant flowering. It requires full sunlight (at least 5β6 hours daily) and well-drained, sandy loam soil rich in organic matter. Moderate and regular watering is important, but waterlogging should be strictly avoided to prevent corm rot. In Kerala conditions, flowering is most prominent during the cooler and post-monsoon seasons. Proper spacing, staking for tall spikes, and timely removal of faded flowers help ensure healthy growth, making gladiolus ideal for garden beds, borders, and cut-flower production.
